April 15th, 2008
I’m a web designer. So I don’t use an Excel so much though.
In this post you will see some tools and tips to visualize your Excel Data.
CX NOW! Powered by Crystal Xcelsius
CX Now! is the free, fun, and easy way to transform your ordinary Excel spreadsheets into persuasive presentations and dynamic business dashboards, and then share them easily via Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, or the Web.
Chart Chooser
Use the filters to find the right chart type for your needs. Then download as Excel or PowerPoint templates and insert your data.
SparkMaker 4.0 Palo Edition
A free Excel add-in provided by Jedox connects Microsoft Excel with the Palo-Server and allows to store and read Palo data in Excel. You can add a small chart in the cell.
Lightweight data exploration in Excel
The bar graphs are built using the Excel REPT function which lets you repeat text a certain number of times. REPT looks like this.
Art of Office - Excel
You can download some creative Excel Art files and templates.
