Photosho Tutorial – How to create a Textured Background

I noticed that recent popular web designs have a Textured Gradient Background.

For this post, you’ll see a Photoshop Tutorials how to create a Textured Background.

Here we go.

1. Create New

Create New (Command + N) You can choose 2 colors that you like. This time I chose #a2bb3e and #328a26.

2. Gradient

Choose Radial Gradient Tool. Create a Gradient at an angle.

3. Texture Image

Prepare Texture image.

4. Drag Texture image

Drag Texture image over the gradient. Now you should have 2 layers

5. Change the Blending Mode

Change the Blending Mode to “Overlay” for the texture layer.

6. Change Opacity

Change the layer opacity.

7. Done!

That’s really easy. Right?

You can create cool background with Gradient and Texture images.
