Photoshop Pattern is an image that is repeated. You can use the Pattern with the Paint Bucket ool to fill a layer or selection.

Photoshop already has wide variety of patterns. But you can add patterns same as brushes.

How to install the Pattern file

Select Paint Bucket Tool, then select Pattern.

Select “Load Patterns” then find the Pattern file you want to add.
